Futures day trading is not about taking every signal. It’s about waiting for the right setup.

In today’s trading session, I’m using the DayTradeToWin Sonic System on the E-mini S&P 500 (ES) / Micro E-mini S&P 500 (MES) and looking at three consecutive signals pointing in the same direction.

Multiple signals are one of the things I look for before entering a futures trade. But that’s only part of the decision.

In this video, I explain why I generally wait 15–20 minutes after the market opens, how I evaluate risk versus reward, and why getting a better entry price can make a major difference.

You’ll learn about:

• ES and MES futures day trading
• Three consecutive Sonic trading signals
• Waiting 15–20 minutes after the market open
• Evaluating risk/reward before entering
• Waiting for a better entry instead of chasing price
• Why you don’t need to take every trading signal
• Using multiple trading methods for confirmation
• Recognizing conflicting signals
• Using targets and stops directly on the chart
• Why staying flat is also a trading decision
• Trading with structure instead of trading blindly

One of the biggest mistakes traders can make is believing they always need to be in the market. Being flat is also a position.

If Sonic is indicating one direction but another method such as the Blueprint, Trade Scalper, Roadmap or Atlas Line is conflicting, that can be a reason to wait rather than force a trade.

Patience matters—especially when trading leveraged futures or using a prop firm account.

The Sonic System includes configurable settings, filters, profit targets and stops designed to help traders apply a structured approach to price-action trading.
